The Department of Youth Services was established in the year 1972 with an objective to channelize the energies of youth for constructive activities and away from unsocial activities. It functions under the administrative control of Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT &C) Department, Government of Telangana. The Department implements various Youth Welfare Programmes in accordance with the changing aspirations and needs of the youth, which are given as under:
