Department of Youth Services

The Department of Youth Services was established in the year 1972 with an objective to channelize the energies of youth for constructive activities and keep away from unsocial activities. It functions under the administrative control of Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture (YAT &C) Department, Government of Telangana. The Department implements various Youth Welfare Programmes in accordance with the changing aspirations and needs of the youth, which are given as under:

Youth Festivals (District level, State level and National Youth Festival)
National Youth Week Celebrations on the occasion of Swamy Vivekananda Birth Day (12th January of every year)
Celebrations of national Importance Days with in coordination with other Departments
Recommendations for different Awards.
